Amazon clashes with German greengrocers

Supermarket products, but home-delivered

According to Bild Zeitung, people are being trained in the United States to offer the same service in Germany, with Amazon Fresh offering practically the same fresh products you can find in your average German supermarket like vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. The project should start no later than in September 2014.

Amazon refused to comment on its plans to come to Germany with Amazon Fresh, a service that has been present in Seattle since 2007. Since 2013, people living in Los Angeles and San Francisco can also order fresh products at Amazon and get them delivered on their doorstep.
