“Cook the flyer”: Colruyt combines recipes with ingredients on promotion

Colruyt Group

Since September is an expensive month for families with children, Colruyt is launching a series of easy, balanced recipes built entirely around products on promotion. Families can save an additional 25%, the retailer says.

Ready in half an hour

The 30 recipes—one for every day in September—offer inspiration for everyday meals that are easy to prepare in under 30 minutes while remaining budget-friendly. Each recipe is built around a main ingredient that’s on promotion, and customers can see exactly how much they’re saving per recipe. The recipes have been available on Colruyt’s website and the Xtra app since August 26.

“At Colruyt, we guarantee the lowest prices all year round and adjust our prices in response to promotional offers across the market. In September, we want to give families some extra support. With these recipes, we combine promotional offers with balanced meals. Financial pressure should never come at the expense of the quality of the meals families put on the table. Families who cook from these recipes for an entire month could save up to 25% extra while still enjoying balanced meals,” says Tamta Mamistvalovi, marketing manager at Colruyt.
