Frasers Group, the owner of Sports Direct, wants to acquire full ownership of the German luxury fashion brand Hugo Boss. The group, led by British billionaire Mike Ashley, already owns more than a quarter of the shares.
Strategic reorientation
Frasers Group, which already holds a 26% stake in Hugo Boss, is offering 1.978 billion euros for the remaining shares, which amounts to about 38 euros per share. That is only a modest premium compared to the closing price of 36.46 euros on June 10.
