Colruyt brings nutrition and health together on a single site

On a new Colruyt Group site, nutrition and health go hand in hand: customers can find the Colruyt Group Academy, the Jims fitness club, a Colruyt Lowest Prices store, and a Collect&Go pickup point all in one place.

Colruyt Group says it wants to increasingly leverage its retail expertise to make preventive health accessible to everyone, relying on the synergy between the various brands within the group. This synergy is taking physical form in Oostkamp, West Flanders: the retailer itself refers to it as its first group site.

The supermarket in Oostkamp opened back in February, the fitness club opened in early March, and since April 2, the tenth Colruyt Group Academy has also been located in the building. It aims to be an inspiring meeting place for young and old, with engaging workshops, modern infrastructure, and a green environment.

“As a food and health retailer, we know that an accessible offering makes all the difference for our customers. This place, where inspiration, exercise, and groceries at the lowest prices come together, is a wonderful first for our group. In the future, we want to invest more in such sites,” the company stated in a post on LinkedIn.
