Scotch & Soda is making a rapid return to European shopping streets and building international scale. The brand now has 90 stores of its own, well above the target of 30 locations set a year ago. The top priority now is the Netherlands.
Strengthening ties with Dutch consumers
After the bankruptcy of Scotch & Soda’s European retail division in 2024, the stores disappeared from the high streets, but in the meantime, quite a few reopenings have followed. London was the first, followed by 22 stores reopening in the core markets of Germany, Belgium, France, and Austria. Outside these core countries, Scotch & Soda added Albania and Bulgaria as new markets, with clear plans for further rollout. Expansion with existing partners continues: there are six stores in South Africa, three in India, three in Asia, and a partner operates 22 stores in the Middle East.
