Holland & Barrett opens fourth store in Antwerp

The British health chain Holland & Barrett is expanding in Belgium. On Saturday, the brand will open a new branch on the Leysstraat in Antwerp. The store marks already the fourth location in the Flemish city.

“Antwerp is a vibrant and diverse city, where more and more people are consciously concerned with their health and well-being,” says Fatjona Cikaj, branch manager of the new store. “We have noticed that there is a great need here for personal advice and natural products.”

The store opening is part of a broader expansion strategy in the Benelux, where the chain now has 236 stores, 31 of which are in Belgium. According to the company, the expansion is in line with a broader trend in which consumers are increasingly opting for preventive health and natural alternatives. Holland & Barrett therefore expects to open even more stores in Belgium and the Netherlands in the coming period.
