With a leaner international organization divided into three major regions, Danone aims to strengthen its agility and operational efficiency. It is another step in the “Renew Danone” strategic plan.
“More compact and simpler”
Starting next year, Danone will drive global operations from three major geographic zones: EMEA (Europe, Turkey, Middle East, Africa), APAC (Asia Pacific) and the Americas (North and South). With this simplified, leaner organization, the company is taking a further step in implementing the second chapter of its “Renew Danone” transformation plan. It will further strengthen the food producer’s agility and market impact.
The new organization also brings with it a number of new appointments starting Jan. 1, 2026. Pablo Perversi will become President EMEA, Bruno Chevot will be responsible for the APAC region and Henri Bruxelles has been appointed President Americas. They will report to Véronique Penchienati-Bosetta, deputy CEO of the group, responsible for regions and categories.
The current President for Asia, Africa and the Middle East, Christian Stammkoetter, has decided to leave Danone to take up a new challenge, after 19 years with the company. He will remain in his position until the end of the year.
“As part of the next chapter of our Renew Danone strategy, we have decided to further accelerate our transformation, with a more compact and simpler organisation at the top of the company. These changes help us move forward with even greater focus and agility,” CEO Antoine de Saint-Affrique said in the press release.
