The Italian Prada group managed to increase its revenue by 9 % in the first half of the year, largely thanks to the continued growth of Miu Miu, which ensured that the luxury group maintained its prime position in a cooling sector.

Prada’s group revenue amounted to 2.74 billion euros, in line with analysts’ expectations. Miu Miu’s sales climbed 49 % to 780 million euros: the brand now represents nearly a quarter of the group’s revenue. At the same time, the revenue of flagship Prada itself decreased by 2% to 1.65 billion euros.
