Belgian e-bike producer Cowboy is reportedly struggling for its survival. A recent recall of thousands of bicycles has revealed financial and organisational issues, while the future of the company becomes increasingly uncertain.
Recall exposes tensions
Cowboy began this spring by expanding into France for the assembly of their latest models, a strategic move intended to ensure faster deliveries and higher production quality. However, things took a turn for the worse: at the beginning of May, the company had to recall its C4 ST model due to a structural defect in the frame.
