Joyce Verhees returns to RetailDetail: “A new dynamic for knowledge centre RetailHub”

RetailDetail is happy to welcome back Joyce Verhees: she is the new Business Unit Manager for knowledge centre RetailHub. “I see a lot of post-Covid opportunities for this unique knowledge and inspiration centre for retailers, suppliers and students”, she says.

Speed up

A familiar face for many partners and customers, Joyce Verhees worked for RetailDetail from 2014 to 2017 as the driving force behind The Loop – RetailDetail’s first experience centre that allowed retailers, suppliers and students to experience the shopping of the future. Now she returns to enthusiastically help expand the Benelux’ biggest knowledge and experience centre RetailHub, on RetailDetail’s new location in Antwerp’s central shopping centre Stadsfeestzaal.

“I am excited to return here and I see a lot of opportunities straightaway”, she says: “After the pandemic, people need meeting and connecting again. We have used the lockdowns to bring our inspiration tours up to date again, which are now welcoming eager visitors again. Moreover, we have installed meeting rooms and offices, which also see a high demand.”

RetailDetail’s new CEO Bie Buelens agrees: “I am delighted to welcome Joyce Verhees and I am convinced she will bring a new dynamism to the RetailHub. As demand for our experience tours and workshop rooms is speeding up again, this is the ideal moment to shift through the gears.”

Up-to-date

RetailHub’s personalised inspiration tours help companies to think about the changing consumer behaviour and their role therein. In outdoor inspiration tours in the city centre of Antwerp, called RetailHunt, participants taste the latest trends and most exciting retail innovations in fashion, food, hospitality, design, living and travel.

RetailDetail has used the time of the lockdowns to bring the knowledge tours up-to-date, based on the latest insights we also present in the books The Future of Food (already in its second edition) and The Future of Shopping, of which a fully revised version will shortly be released.

RetailHub is not just an experience centre to live the latest retail trends and technological solutions, but also a place to meet and work – with offices, co-working spaces, meeting rooms and event halls. For a full overview, please contact us through this form.
