Fashion24 August, 2016

zLabels, the company that houses all of Zalando‘s fashion brands, is about to set its own course: all of its brands will be made available to Zalando’s competitors as well.

Shoes at Asos, but plans for Tmall and Amazon too

As of this moment, Zalando has 17 brands of its own, including Anna Field, Even & Odd, Mint & Berry and Kiomi, all of which will be available in other web shops soon. Several shoe brands will be on sale at British Asos for example, while zLabels also hopes to collaborate with Tmall and Amazon.

Currently, Zalando generates about 10 to 15 % of its turnover from its own brands, worth 300 to 400 million euro.

zLabels already has its own distribution center in the German city of Peine and it will also prepare an entirely new IT infrastructure following its split from Zalando.
