Sell through an app and get Amazon commission

Earn commission by adding links

American
smartphone app developers can benefit from the income made if their app
succeeds in getting an Amazon purchase
made, with a possible 6 %
commission based on the revenue.

Amazon
sees plenty of opportunities: “An app developer focused on food and
fitness can link vitamins, supplements and fitness clothing through the
Amazon web shop”, states the company. The advantage would be that only
relevant products for that target audience would be linked

Ben & Jerry’s launches ice cream app

Apps
can also be used for specific advertising, as ice maker Ben &
Jerry’s shows. It consciously uses an app to introduce its flavours ‘Vanilla
Honey Caramel, ‘Pineapple Passionfruit’ and ‘Liz Lemon’. The
thought is that whoever has time to use an app, has come at peace and
has set aside time to inform himself.

A
banner with three buttons is used to provide more information about the
company and the brand, the ice cream in general and the new flavours it
intends to market. A shortest route to the nearest purchase point is
also provided.
