Danish decoration chain Søstrene Grene is opening its sixth store in Belgium in the centre of Namur on 20 June. It will be its first store in the French-speaking region of Wallonia.

The new shop will offer the retailer’s full range, including home decoration, small furniture, hobby items, toys, kitchen utensils, stationery. The shop will be fitted out according to the retailer’s latest store concept, “Retail for the Senses”, a concept that has been warmly welcomed by customers in Antwerp, Leuven and Mechelen, the company says.
“We have worked hard on the shop concept with the vision of giving our customers a little break from the often hectic daily life and offering them an experience like no other”, CEO Mikkel Grene explains. The concept is inspired by the idea of the city, with a kind of maze of wider boulevards and narrower alleys, with tall shop racks inspired by skyscrapers and lower furniture like town houses.
