Sports bar O’Learys comes to Belgium

Swedish chain of sports bars O’Learys will open its very first Belgian bar in Ghent on 9 September. The chain already has 125 stores worldwide, each of them a resounding success.

Entrepreneurs Laurent Valcke and Steven Malysse. will invest 3 million euro in a 3,800 sqm location near Dok Noord in Ghent. In exchange for their investment, O’Learys gave them an exclusivity contract. The bar will employ 30 people.

The O’Learys sports bars are huge and contain a mixture of sports. They have an ice rink, bowling alleys, game corners, miniature golf and shuffle boards. Visitors can also come and watch a plethora of sports games on dozens of screens all across the bar. A range of burgers and other meals are also available, while companies can have seminars or team building sessions there.
