“Switch or Die”

Today the internet is omnipresent and so are
your competors
, price comparison sites, social media and customer reviews. The
consumer does not even have to leave his house to have everything within reach – and all
this while the consumer has made stinginess the new norm.

For retailers the time is now to adapt to this
new retail reality. At this year’s RetailDetail Congress, Christian Van Thillo (CEO De Persgroep), Pieter Zwart (CEO
Coolblue), prof. Gino Van Ossel (Vlerick Business School), Wouter Torfs (CEO
Schoenen Torfs) and Peter Hinssen (author “The New Normal”) will teach you how you have to make that “switch”.

Five richly filled pre-congresses

A survey among 850 professional participants of
last year showed that the pre-congresses are also well liked. This year they
will be even more extensive, offering a full and rich menu about several actual
themes.

We are offering the following pre-congresses:

  • “Shopper experience marketing”: following the motto
“Shopping has to become a feast” Cor Molenaar (Erasmus University), Bart De
Waele (Communication agency Wijs) and many other go to battle to save the
    physical retailer ‘hands-on’.

  • “E-commerce: why switch?”: why not stick with
what’s good? Executives of GfK, Google, Telenet and TNT will try to
give a satisfactory answer to that question.

    “>

  • “The new consumer”: What influences purchases
the most? And has the consumer changed for good? Prof. Van Ossel (Vlerick
Business School), Ilse Peeters (De Persgroep), Katja Van Putten (Fé) and others
    explain.

  • “Sustainability”: This pre-congress is about the power of doing it ‘the
    other way round’
, with examples ranging from the trendy
WasBars to in-vitro meat and sustainable retail.

  • “Long live print”: How innovations make their
mark on the presumed dead sector that is printing
    and how this leads to
astonishing results. Ronen Zioni (HP), Tom Theys (Publicis), Christian
Duyckaerts (Retail Communicators) and others will tell you all about it.

Please note the main language at the Congress and the pre-congresses will be Dutch. French translations will be available, English translations will not be provided). PDF-files with detailed programmes will follow shortly.

Combined with the evening program of the
congress
you will have all this for €245 all-in (not including VAT). The
networking during and after is on us.

Going with the theme we are rewarding fast deciders:
the first hundred paying registrations will receive a free RetailBible 2013 (in Dutch or French) worth
€250.

Places are limited, so do not hesitate to
register
