With the addition of profitable services, catering, and leisure facilities, Wereldhave Belgium is optimising the profitability of its indoor shopping centres. Deputy CEO Nicolas Rosiers expects more shopping centres to come onto the market.
Great opportunity
With the acquisition of the Knauf Pommerloch shopping centre in Luxembourg and Shopping Ville2 in Charleroi this year, Wereldhave Belgium is positioning itself more than ever as the expert in medium-sized indoor shopping centres. These are attractive projects, CEO Nicolas Rosiers of Wereldhave Belgium explains: “There is an undersupply of shopping centres in Belgium and Luxembourg, while in many other countries there is an oversupply. Also, because no additional centres will be built outside city centres, these attractions will become even more appealing than in the past.”
