Starbucks cuts another 224 jobs despite growing revenue

Starbucks cuts 224 office jobs as part of a new round of restructuring under CEO Brian Niccol. The cuts will affect employees at the Seattle headquarters and those in remote roles. Employees at the cafes will not be affected.

Just out of the slump

About 120 employees are leaving because they do not want to relocate to Nashville. In addition, another 104 positions will be eliminated as Starbucks reorganizes its structure. The layoffs will take place between 19 October 19 and 1 November.
