Sligro Middelkerke

Foodservice wholesaler Sligro continues to struggle in the Belgian market. Revenue fell by 2.2% in the third quarter, even though the company is counting on growth to improve its profitability. Sligro now expects to have to write off another portion of its Belgian goodwill by the end of this year.

The Netherlands stagnate

In the third quarter of 2026, Sligro Food Group reported revenue of 92 million euros in Belgium, compared to 94 million euros a year earlier. Once again, the Belgian division underperformed the Dutch division, where revenue fell by 0.6% to 568 million euros. At the group level, quarterly revenue fell by 0.8% to 660 million euros.
