Q8 is introducing digital food markets in 75 of its stations in Belgium and Luxembourg: customers can order ready-made dishes and groceries from the Delhaize Shop & Go there. In Denmark, the concept is already a success.
More digital, faster, more flexible
With the rise of electric cars and changing consumer expectations on the road, the use of time at a gas and charging station is changing dramatically. The offer needs to become more digital, faster and more flexible, Q8 knows. Therefore, the company will roll out digital food markets to which a compact “smart kitchen” is connected: customers can order various types of ready-made dishes there, as well as groceries from the shop. Ordering can be done both at kiosks in the station and online.
