Vasco International Trading, the purchasing alliance grouping Colruyt Group, Superunie and Coop Group, has appointed Ewa Jankowiak as its General Manager. She has extensive experience in FMCG, from Danone and Metro.

Jankowiak comes over from at Danone, where she had worked for the past seven years. Before that, she held various commercial positions at Metro and Makro Cash & Carry. Now she takes the reins at Vasco, the alliance formed in March to increase the buying power of its three shareholders and create a level playing field in talks with international major brand suppliers.
With this appointment, Vasco International Trading says it is taking an important step in the further development of the alliance. Jankowiak and the complete team started in Amsterdam at the beginning of May. In the coming weeks, the new General Manager will prepare, together with the team, for the first negotiations that will start in September this year.
