Heineken posted strong results in the third quarter of 2026, but new CEO Rafael Oliveira emphasizes that more is needed to sustainably anchor growth. Nonetheless, the long hot summer and the rise of non-alcoholic beers certainly gave the company a boost.
Challenges Remain
The Dutch beer giant reported volume growth of 4.2% and a 4.5% increase in revenue, well above expectations. Growth was driven by flagship brands Heineken and Amstel and regional beers such as Tiger and Sol, as well as by rising demand for non-alcoholic and low-alcohol beers. These categories saw double-digit growth worldwide.
