Huyghe Brewery (Delirium Tremens) has expressed interest in its industry peer Haacht

According to various sources, Huyghe Brewery—best known for its Delirium Tremens beer—is reportedly reviewing the sale documents for Haacht Brewery together with a real estate partner. Heineken and Duvel Moortgat are also in the running to acquire the company.

Business newspaper De Tijd has learned from various sources that Huyghe Brewery, together with an as-yet-unidentified Flemish real estate partner, is reviewing the sale documents for the Haacht beer group. Huyghe also acquired the Mechelen-based Het Anker brewery, known for its Gouden Carolus beer, at the end of 2024.
