18.8 million virtual customers per month

Through its combination of online multi-brand and single-brand boutiques, Yoox attracted 18.8 million people per month during its first quarter. In the same time frame last year, it only attracted 14.8 million customers. The total number of orders grew from 842,000 last year to 984,000 orders this year, while the average spend also grew slightly, from 194 to 198 euro.

The additional turnover also resulted in a 1.2 million euro net profit during the quarter, up 30 % compared to the same period last year.

Yoox’ focal point in the upcoming months is the proposed merger with Compagnie Financière Richemont-controlled Net-A-Porter, which it hopes to finalize by September. Both companies combined had a 1.3 billion euro turnover in 2014.
