European Council wants to eliminate procurement barriers (once again)

Last Friday, the European Council once again emphasized the urgent need for measures to remove barriers to the internal market. The conclusion also explicitly mentions territorial supply constraints.

“The European Council reconfirms the urgency of making decisive progress on deepening and integrating the Single Market by removing remaining barriers, including fragmented labelling and packaging requirements and territorial supply constraints,” according to a press release issued last Friday, October 16.
