Delhaize reshuffles executive committee: Gentile moves to Ahold Delhaize

Delhaize is restructuring its executive committee now that Raphaël Gentile is also taking on a European role at parent company Ahold Delhaize. Starting in September, Jonathan Hertog will assume responsibility for both commerce and sourcing.

New international team

Following Albert Heijn’s announcement earlier today, Delhaize is also announcing changes at the top as executive members move up to Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia. Gentile, previously vice president of Sourcing & Replenishment and a member of Delhaize’s Executive Committee, will become senior vice president of Own Brand Joint Sourcing within the Commerce team at Ahold Delhaize Europe & Indonesia.
