Stronger under private label
Organic products are on the rise again: YouGov figures suggest that spending on organic products in Belgium is rising more strongly than total food spending. The most recent Nielsen figures confirm this evolution: sales of organic products are up 3.2 % year-on-year, while non-organic products are up 2.3 %. Organic now represents 2.7 % of total FMCG food sales.
