Two candidates want to take over Claire’s French operations. Together, they would save 142 stores and retain 460 of the 829 jobs. The proposals are currently before the Paris court.

June, a jewelry chain, has permission to operate the Claire’s brand and wants to hire 426 employees. This buyer wants to take over 139 of the approximately 240 French points of sale. Spanish phone case seller La Casa de las Carcasas wants to take on 34 employees and operate three stores.
