De Bijenkorf has thoroughly renovated the second and third floors of its department store on Dam Square in Amsterdam. With 9,000 m² of renovated retail space, new brands, beauty concepts, and dining options, the department store aims to place a stronger emphasis on the shopping experience and personalized service.

Beauty, streetwear, and athletic wear

Both floors have been given their own distinct character: the second floor centers on premium fashion and personalized service, while the third floor focuses on streetwear, beauty, and athleisure. On the third floor, De Bijenkorf is introducing three new retail concepts: the Beauty Studio combines skincare, makeup, and hair care, while The Urban Edit focuses on streetwear and contemporary fashion. A DJ booth is designed to add extra energy to the department.
