Third cyber attack in three months on LVMH

French luxury group LVMH has been hit by a third data breach in as many months. This time, it was personal data of British Louis Vuitton customers that has been compromised – including names, contact details, and purchase history.

Wave of Cyber Attacks

Louis Vuitton, the flagship of the French luxury group LVMH, was hit by a cyber attack on 2 July, The Guardian reports. In an email to affected customers, Louis Vuitton warns of potential risks, such as an increased risk of phishing and other scam attempts. The luxury giant says that no financial information (such as bank or payment details) has been stolen.
