Pieces expands in the Netherlands and Belgium: seven new stores in one year

Bestseller subsidiary Pieces is picking up the pace in the Netherlands and Belgium. The Danish fashion brand expanded its store network from four to eleven locations in twelve months and is already planning its next opening in Leuven on September 24.

“The past twelve months have been entirely focused on opening new stores,” Boudewijn Peek, Retail Manager for the Benelux at Bestseller, told FashionUnited. A year ago, Pieces had only four company-owned stores in the Netherlands and Belgium; today, there are already eleven. And it doesn’t stop there, according to Peek: “We’re far from done growing.”

The next opening is scheduled for September 24 in Leuven. Pieces already opened two additional stores in August: on August 13 in Middelburg and on August 27 in Maastricht. The brand aims to regain ground in the Netherlands and Belgium, particularly among young customers.
