On 1 January, Omoda will take over fashion store Mijn Modewereld in De Wolden (Drenthe, Netherlands). This 8,000 sqm fashion store is one of the largest of its kind in the Netherlands and offers more than 300 brands. CEO Jan Baan calls it “a fantastic step.”
Ensuring continuity
With the acquisition of the family business, which has been built up by the Van de Belt family since 1951, Omoda wants to ensure the continuity of the store and further grow the concept. The transaction is in line with the Dutch fashion retailer’s strategy to strengthen the connection between online and offline.
