Mexx celebrates relaunch with small collection

Fashion8 March, 2018

Dutch fashion brand Mexx is to make a return with a small spring and summer collection, available at the brand’s web shop and in several countries with Mexx stores.

Phased release

Mexx’ brand rights transferred to Dutch RNF Group last year, but there had been little news about its new direction since then.

The new collection will contain pieces for men, women and children and is the first step towards a full-blown collection, which should appear in the spring of 2019. In the meantime, new collections will continuously grow compared to the previous ones. The complete collection will consist of shoes, accessories, underwear and handbags and Mexx’ goal is to become a market leader in the “upper-low” market.

For its online sales, Mexx has its own web shop and the company also sells on other platforms, like Amazon and Otto Group. For its physical retail activities, the new collection will only appear in Greece and several former Soviet nations. Austria, Canada, France and the Netherlands will be able to welcome the collection in the fall. Belgium, Germany, the Middle East, Egypt and Russia will follow suit in 2019. The chain will also open new stores in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich and Paris.
