As if the cyber incidents at Ahold Delhaize and the heating fridges at French supermarkets this week weren’t enough, H&M Group is now also investigating reports of a possible hack. However, it’s still unclear whether a breach actually occurred: the fashion giant has found no evidence (so far).
Fake news?
H&M has been investigating reports of a possible cyberattack since Monday, October 12. According to the British newspaper The Times, the Swedish fashion group was targeted by the hacker group ShinyHunters, the same collective responsible for the recent attack on the British fashion retailer ASOS.
