Liz Bennett no longer with Lush

Beauty/Care29 August, 2014

Together since 1978

Liz Bennett founded the company alongside Mark and Mo Constantine Lush in 1994 and had been a part of the company ever since. She took care of the training and development department, but has since decided to leave the company.

Her collaboration with Mark and Mo Constantine dates back to 1978, when they founded a company that supplied The Body Shop with cosmetics. Eventually, they would become the company’s largest supplier until The Body Shop decided to buy the supplier for 9 million pounds (11.3 million euro). After that, the threesome founded a mail order company in 1988, but that was not a success.

In 1994, they opened the first Lush store in Poole and currently, the chain has 900 stores worldwide and 100 in the United Kingdom. Mark and Mo Constantine are still the largest shareholders, but Liz Bennett has no shares at all.
