Total European e-commerce revenue rose by 7% last year, from 842 billion euros to 911 billion euros. Although all regions showed growth, the pace varied. European regulations and competition from international platforms remain major concerns.

Growth slowdown expected

Western Europe, the largest e-commerce region, recorded the lowest growth at 5% and reached a revenue of 523.1 billion euros, accounting for 57% of total European revenue. Northern Europe grew by 6% to 69.5 billion, while Central Europe rose by 8% to 92.9 billion. Growth was strongest in Southern and Eastern Europe, at 11% and 14%, respectively. The figures come from the new 2026 European E-commerce Report by Ecommerce Europe and EuroCommerce.
