HEMA is opening a new store at Shopping Cora Woluwe. It will be the retailer’s eighth location in Brussels. With the arrival of this crowd-puller, the shopping center is taking the next step in its transformation.
Close to local customers
The opening of this new 440 m² HEMA store coincides with Shopping Cora Woluwe’s discovery weekend on September 4, 5, and 6. During this weekend, the new stores on the site will be welcomed with various surprises and activities for visitors.
“We look forward to opening our doors in Woluwe and welcoming our customers here. Shopping Cora Woluwe is a well-established location that gives us the opportunity to be close to local customers,” says Carla Velghe, Country Manager of HEMA Belgium.
For Shopping Cora Woluwe, HEMA’s arrival marks a new step in the site’s development. Following the arrival of well-known names such as Delhaize, Action, Kiabi, Aldi, Wibra, and Dreamland, stores from Kruidvat, Jysk, and Extra Shop will also soon open on the site. 95% of the retail space at the locations of the seven former Cora hypermarkets is now leased, reports Mitiska REIM. One European fashion retailer will open large stores in six of the seven centers this November.
