Edeka and its partners in the international purchasing alliance Everest have settled their price dispute with AB InBev. This brings an end to a conflict that has been dragging on since November.

In November, Edeka and its partners in Everest deliberately scaled back orders from the world’s largest brewery group. The reason for this was the substantial price increases, which Edeka considered unjustifiable. The retailer spoke of “pure speculation” at the time and said it was “only prepared to agree to fair prices”, Lebensmittel Zeitung reports.
