(update) Kiabi has been in Belgium for ten years now, and in 2026 the brand is planning to celebrate by expanding: the French fashion label wants to open five new stores on former Cora hypermarket sites, is renovating its first flagship store in Docks, and is introducing a new logo. The investments intend to compensate for the faltering French fashion market.
New wave of expansion
Kiabi currently has 13 stores and 310 employees in Belgium. Since the start of its Belgian activities in 2012, first with e-commerce and then with physical stores from 2016 onwards, the company has steadily built up its network. Between 2021 and 2025, Kiabi opened nine new stores, and in 2024, the group also introduced franchising as an additional growth model, with openings in Hannuit and Huy.
