Unilever is considering selling a number of classic British food brands, such as including Bovril, Colman’s and Marmite. The brands represent a turnover of over 200 million euros.
Largest divestment
For CEO Fernando Fernandez, who took office in February with the task of accelerating the turnaround at Unilever, this would be the most significant divestment to date. This has been reported by three sources involved to the Reuters news agency. Two of these sources emphasise that the instant noodle brand Pot Noodle will not be included in the sale.
