The split between purchasing organization Everest and Jumbo did not happen last week, but rather at the beginning of this summer. The alliance was dissatisfied with “the level of management and purchasing” at the retailer.
“Failing business processes”
Last Monday, Jumbo issued a press release announcing that it was ending its collaboration with the international purchasing organizations Everest and Epic Partners for the purchase of branded products. The supermarket chain says it looks back on a valuable collaboration, but wants to take a different approach to the purchase of A-brands.
