Nils van Dam appointed CEO at Haacht Brewery

Co.Br.Ha, the parent company of Haacht Brewery, has appointed Nils van Dam as its new CEO. He is the brewery’s first non-family CEO. Boudewijn van der Kelen, a member of the owner family, will continue to provide support as co-CEO.

Next step in transformation plan

The brewery, known for beers such as Primus, Charles Quint, Tongerlo, and Super 8, has been working on a transformation plan since 2023. The appointment of a new CEO is the next step in this transformation, the company announced in a press release: “Nils van Dam will take on strategic, commercial, and operational leadership and further accelerate the transformation that has been set in motion to return the group to sustainable profitability. Boudewijn van der Kelen will support specific projects in consultation with Nils van Dam as co-CEO.”
