RTG International, an alliance of German retailers such as Tegut, Globus and Rossmann, joins Concordis, the purchasing alliance recently formed by Carrefour and Coopérative U.
Staying competitive
The medium-sized retail companies that are members of RTG International are counting on the fact that by joining forces with the two French retailers, they will obtain better terms with the big brand suppliers. Concordis, headquartered in Brussels, was formed only in early July by Carrefour and Coopérative U to negotiate with multinational suppliers of branded goods in Europe from 2026, both on net purchase prices and so-called “on top” conditions.
