French luxury conglomerate LVMH is reportedly looking to sell its American fashion house Marc Jacobs, due to disappointing performances. Insiders suggest the French are hoping for a sale price around one billion euros.

Several large American companies are said to be interested, the Wall Street Journal reports: these include Authentic Brands (Billabong, Champion, Forever 21, and Reebok), former Scotch&Soda owner Bluestar Alliance, and WHP Global (Bonobos, as well as toy chain Toys ‘R’ Us).
