Record number of exhibitors at delicatessen trade fair Tavola

icon
Food14 February, 2020

(advertorial) Tavola, the biennial trade fair for food professionals with a passion for taste, will take place from March 15 to 17 in Kortrijk Xpo this year. 500 strong market leaders and artisan producers will present a unique range of strictly selected delicatessen and delicious high-end products.

Focus on innovation

Tavola distinguishes itself by its focus on innovation and an exceptional product experience: every two years it is one of the most attractive, premium quality food fairs in Europe. The trade fair brings a well-considered mix: from artisanal to trendy, from large volumes to small scale, from leading companies to start-ups, from well-known brands to private brands, from classics to surprising discoveries.

So professionals from retail, specialty outlets or catering know where to go: from March 15 to 17, Tavola will bring the professional food community together in Kortrijk Xpo. Buyers and managers of central buying offices, wholesale distribution, specialty outlets, webshops, caterers, producers and trade press will meet in the best conditions, ready for new impressions and business.

Guaranteed discoveries

This year you will discover a record number of no less than 500 strictly selected exhibitors in 5 attractive exhibition halls. Among them, there will be many companies that are faithful to the biennial meeting, but also around one-third of new exhibitors who were not there at the previous edition. Thus, many discoveries are guaranteed for loyal visitors as well. Once again, there are many exhibitors from abroad: both individual participants and international pavilions from the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Canada, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, etc. Special zones have been reserved for artisan manufacturers and startups with original and high-quality products. And for the first time, there will be a Beer Avenue with special beers.

Looking for a specific supplier or a unique product?  The Tavola exhibitors bring together a unique mix of knowledge, innovation and experience. View the list and select the participants and product groups at https://www.tavola-xpo.be/exhibitors/.

Golden Tavola: the culinary innovations of 2020

The Golden Tavola competition crowns the most remarkable culinary innovations of 2020 in four categories, depending on the sales channel:

  • Retail (self-service products)

  • Catering (products sold via traditional service)

  • Delicatessens (for delicatessens)

  • Foodservice (for catering organizations)

As a visitor, you can taste the laureates and help determine the gastronomic trends of the future. In the innovation gallery, you will discover the professional jury’s selection and cast your vote yourself to determine the winner of the audience award.
