Belgian Distriplus (the holding company of drogmetics chains Di and Planet Perfume and subsidiary of the Groupe Jacques Bogart) acquires the seventeen Milady perfume shops in Luxembourg.

The sale, effective on 1 October, adds all seventeen stores of the Milady chain to Distriplus’ existing 200 stores in Belgium and Luxembourg and raising the group’s turnover with ten million euros. Parfumerie de Luxembourg, which is a subsidiary of Planet Perfume, will manage the Milady stores and take over all its employees.
Almost exactly one year ago, Distriplus was acquired by the Groupe Jacques Bogart, who bought the company from investors Ackermans & van Haaren and the Nationale Portefeuillemaatschappij. Apart from the 200 stores in Belgium and Luxembourg, the company also has 157 stores in France and Germany, as well as in Asia.
