In its newly renovated shop in Hognoul, Belgian outdoor retailer A.S.Adventure has introduced a new concept: a service hub where customers can hand in repairs, pick up online orders and return second-hand items.
Circular and customer-oriented
After eighteen years, A.S.Adventure’s store in Hognoul (near Liège) received a substantial makeover. It remains a full concept shop with departments for outdoor, travel, fashion, active wear, winter sports and camping. Moreover, the shop also offers the Second Life collection, which gives fleeces and jackets that children have outgrown – but are still in excellent condition – a well-deserved second life.
New is the first-ever Services Hub: a place in the shop where customers can bring in products for repair or maintenance (and pick them up here too), pick up Click & Collect orders and bring in second-hand items. The hub makes the retailer’s maintenance and repair services offering more visible in-store.
“Sustainability does not start with recycling, but with extending the life of what we already have. With our Care & Repair services, we make sustainable choices tangible and accessible to every customer. The Services Hub in Hognoul brings that vision to life. In this way, we are building step by step a retail model that is as circular as it is customer-oriented”, sustainability manager Claudia Verswyver said.
