Bike Republic has opened its thirtieth store in Asse, near Brussels. The bicycle store chain belonging to the Colruyt Group strengthens its presence in the area with one of its biggest stores so far.
Strategically west of Brussels
Bike Republic calls itself the “largest bicycle chain in Flanders”, and strengthens that position with its new store in the Afi Retail Park in Asse. General Manager Wim Teerlynck emphasises that proximity and service are important pillars for the chain, and that the new location is “strategically located” in what used to be a void west of Brussels.
In addition to its sales and leasing offer, the new shop also offers a professional workshop for repairs. Bike Republic says it has a strong focus on after-sales service, including replacement bikes for customers who have their bikes repaired. In turn, the B2B division offers customised solutions for companies and SMEs. Bike Republic was founded as Fiets! in 2010, but has been fully part of Colruyt Group since 2019.
