Amazon will launch same-day delivery at twenty new locations in Europe in the coming year. Customers can also order later and later: the retailer is deploying AI to predict purchasing behaviour and optimise stock levels.

Amazon plans to launch same-day delivery in twenty new European locations over the next twelve months, Europe CEO Rocco Braeuniger said at the retailer’s ‘Delivering the Future’ media event in Dortmund, Germany. The new locations would include Augsburg (Germany), Bergamo (Italy) and Metz (France).
