US retail giant Walmart is stepping up the pace of its drone deliveries. Airborne deliveries will soon be available in five additional cities, covering a total of 100 stores.

Retail giant Walmart is significantly expanding its drone delivery service: with the addition of five new cities (Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando and Tampa), Walmart now covers Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas with its drone deliveries. ‘This is real drone delivery at scale,’ says Adam Woodworth, CEO of drone partner Wing.
