Belgian bakery group La Lorraine saw its turnover grow 7.7 % last year, as it managed to land an important deal to access the United States through a joint venture. This year, growth should be even bigger.
Billion euro investment in capacity
The Belgian Panos owner increased its turnover to 1.46 billion euros, partly thanks to a record investment of 192 million euros in additional production and storage capacity in Belgium, Czechia and Romania. This is part of La Lorraine’s ambitious investment programme of one billion euros over five years.
